What is iMatter?

More Than a Retreat A Movement for Healing, Rest and Transformation

“Self-care isn’t selfish.”

For many women, life becomes an endless cycle of giving. We pour into our families, careers, businesses, ministries, and communities, often leaving little for ourselves. iMatter was created to change that. It is a sacred space where women can pause, lay down the weight they’ve been carrying, heal, rest, and be restored.

Why iMatter Exists
iMatter was born from my own healing journey. For years, I spent my life showing up for everyone else until one day I broke and realized I was not okay. By God’s grace, He surrounded me with loving, God-fearing women who carried me through one of the hardest seasons of my life. They listened, prayed, encouraged me, and reminded me that healing was possible.
When I experienced healing and restoration, I knew I wanted every woman to experience what I had been given—a safe space to be seen, heard, supported, and restored.
That is why iMatter exists.
Because when a woman heals, she doesn’t just transform her own life—she impacts her family, her community, and generations to come.

How iMatter Trips Are Designed to Help Women
Every iMatter trip is carefully curated with one purpose: to help women heal, rest, grow, and reconnect with who they truly are.
Rather than filling every moment with activities, the retreats intentionally balance personal reflection, meaningful conversations, wellness experiences, and transformative teaching.

Emotional Healing
Healing is at the center of every iMatter experience.
Women are encouraged to process emotions, restore their sense of identity, and find inner peace in a supportive, judgment-free environment. Many participants discover that taking time to acknowledge and work through emotional wounds opens the door to renewed confidence and healthier relationships.

Intentional Motherhood
For mothers, the retreat offers space to explore what it means to nurture others without losing themselves in the process.
Through conversations and guided sessions, women are encouraged to balance motherhood with personal growth, self-discovery, and emotional wellbeing.

Financial Empowerment
iMatter recognizes that financial challenges often have emotional roots.
Participants are encouraged to examine limiting beliefs around money and begin healing financial trauma through mindset transformation, empowering them to make healthier financial decisions with confidence.

Learning to Rest
In today’s fast-paced world, many women feel guilty for slowing down.
At iMatter, rest is treated as something sacred—not something to be earned after burnout. Women are intentionally given space to pause, reflect, breathe, and reconnect with themselves without feeling pressured to be productive.

Healing Through Experience

Healing happens in different ways for different people.
That is why iMatter combines meaningful conversations with experiences that engage the heart, mind, and body.
Activities may include:
• Spa treatments that promote physical and emotional renewal
• Nature walks that provide peace and grounding
• Vision board sessions to clarify future dreams and aspirations
• Creative painting for emotional expression
• Professional photography that celebrates identity and confidence
These experiences are not simply recreational—they are intentionally chosen to help women reconnect with themselves in practical and memorable ways.

The Power of Community
Perhaps one of the most transformative aspects of iMatter is the community it creates.

Many women carry their burdens quietly, believing they are alone in their struggles. iMatter reminds them that healing often happens in the presence of people who understand, encourage, and uplift one another.
Every gathering is designed to foster authentic connection, reminding women that they are seen, valued, and supported.

You Matter
The name iMatter is both a declaration and an invitation.

It reminds every woman that her wellbeing is important, her healing is worthwhile, and her life has value—not because of what she does for others, but because of who she is.

Self-care is not selfish. Rest is not weakness. Healing is not a luxury.

They are essential steps toward becoming the healthiest, strongest, and most authentic version of yourself.

At iMatter, women are invited to pause, breathe, heal, and remember one simple truth:

You matter. Always.
