From Holiday Chaos to 2025 Goals: A Mompreneurs Heartfelt New Year Reflection
Happy New Year, Mompreneurs!
Welcome to 2025, a year I am claiming as our year of Grace and Dominion! I pray this year is filled with blessings, opportunities, and breakthroughs for each one of you. Let’s take a moment to thank God for bringing us into another year—a fresh start, a chance to dream bigger, and the strength to make those dreams a reality.
My Holiday Reflections
The holidays were such a refreshing time for me. My husband, who works in another town, was pleased to have us, I traveled with the triple J—Miss Jade, Joe, and Miss Jammie—to spend quality time together. What did this do for me? Well, I finally got to rest knowing I wasn’t the only parent on duty. Hubby allowed me to sleep in without worrying about whether the house was clean or not. It felt so good to just pause and breathe.
But… oh my! There’s no washing machine in this home. So, I didn’t escape the laundry duty entirely. However, I turned it into an opportunity to teach the triple J how to hand-wash clothes. They now appreciate our washing machine and my helper so much more because they had to do it themselves. The best part? They became mindful of their clothes, knowing they’d have to wash them again. Small lessons, big wins!
For me, managing the laundry was a bit of a challenge with my back issues. I had to pace myself—wash a little, rest, then go again. But it taught me patience and reminded me to take care of myself.
Christmas Joy
Christmas was truly special. The kids got their dream gifts: Miss Jade received a camera and has been busy capturing precious moments, Joe got his soccer tackies and jerseys he’s been eyeing for months, and Miss Jammie got a Checkers 60 bike. She’s been riding it around the house, filling the place with joyful noise. It’s chaotic, but it’s the kind of chaos that makes my heart full.
We also went exploring and found a small river nearby. It turned into a little adventure for us, stopping along the way to appreciate nature—so beautiful and refreshing.

Marriage Corner
Spending quality time with my husband was the highlight of the holidays. Being apart most of the time makes these moments together so much more meaningful. We laughed, reminisced, and planned—all while enjoying each other’s company.
Spiritual and Work Updates
On the spiritual side, I had more time to pray and reconnect with God. It felt so grounding to align myself spiritually before diving into the new year.
With work, I dedicated a few early morning hours while the kids were still asleep to work on SamuONline. I’m so excited about what’s coming this year:
- The Business Prayer Hour with amazing guest leaders.
- The girls’ trip in May—it’s going to be so empowering.
- Our Intentional Mom Workshops to help moms thrive in every area of their lives.
Setting Intentions for 2025
As we step into this new season, I want to remind you to:
- Be Intentional: In your business, motherhood, and personal growth, make choices that align with your values and goals.
- Embrace Grace: Give yourself grace when things don’t go as planned. Progress, not perfection, is the goal.
- Step into Dominion: Take authority over your time, resources, and opportunities. This is your year to shine unapologetically!
A Prayer for Your Year
Heavenly Father, I commit every mompreneur reading this into Your hands. May 2025 be a year of open doors, divine connections, and abundant provision. Strengthen them as they juggle their roles, and let them walk boldly in their calling. Amen.
